Starting Strong

In this hands-on seed starting class, adults will learn the essential techniques for successfully starting plants from seed. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the entire process, from choosing the right seeds and containers to understanding soil, light, and watering needs. Participants will gain practical knowledge to create a thriving garden, whether you’re growing vegetables, herbs, or flowers. You’ll also get to start your own seeds to take home and nurture. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to improve their gardening skills!

Please Note: This event takes place both indoors and out. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately to be comfortable outside. Entering the farmhouse requires climbing several steps. Additionally, garden pathways may be muddy, snowy, or and/or slick. Guests with limited mobility may find the space difficult to navigate.
